Keeping in sync with the theme, pet parents dressed their pets in mini Onam costume complete with accessories for the photo contest organised by Felican Pet Hospital
This Onam season photographs of pets in special Onam costume was quite viral on social media. Most of the photographs that became popular are from the unique online photo contest organised by Felican Pet Hospital as part of its seventh anniversary celebrations. The contest held in association with Drools was based on the theme #Onamwithpet and saw the participation of of 25 pets and pet parents.
Keeping in sync with the theme, pet parents dressed their pets in mini Onam costume complete with accessories. The contest was based on the number of likes and shares.
The first prize was grabbed by Messi owned by Divya Hareesh, the second prize went to Parker owned by Harrish Babu and Lucky owned by Aishwarya Sreekumar took home the thirs prize.
A special gift will be awarded to Hachi owned by Maria Scaria for the most beautiful entry category.
Dr Sunilkumar of Felican Pet Hospital says, "Our enjoyment will double seeing our pets in festival mood. Dogs being the attention seekers that they are will be happy when everyone praises them.The best gift we can them is love. Children too will have an everlasting memory of a festival with there favourite pets".
The prize distribution ceremony will be held at Pelican Pet Hospital at 11 am on Thursday.
