Hyderabad: A disturbance in the southern Arabian Sea caused sudden clouding up of the sky over the city on Thursday, making the day pleasant for Republic Day festivities.
Light rainfall was reported over Telangana state and Andhra Pradesh.
The cloud cover extends from the southeast Arabian Sea to south Chhattisgarh across Karnataka and Telangana state. Weather officials said this was caused by an “upper air cyclonic circulation over Maldives”.
Indian Meteorological Department, Hyderabad, director Y.K. Reddy forecase light to moderate rain or thundershowers at isolated places over TS and AP on Friday. The forecast for January 28 is dry weather.
