Hyderabad at 12.5ºC; cold day continues in Telangana

Hyderabad: The mercury in Hyderabad fell to 12.4ºC pre-dawn on Friday. The state still experiences cold day conditions. On November 11, the temperature in the city was seven degrees below normal. In most of the districts, also, the minimum temperatures were markedly below normal.

On Thursday, there was no big change in maximum temperatures across Telangana though they were appreciably above normal at one or two places. The highest maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius was recorded at Mahabubnagar. The minimum temperatures dropped appreciably in one or two places. The lowest minimum temperature of 11 degrees Celsius was recorded at Medak.

The local weather bureau has warned that the cold day conditions are likely to continue till November 13 in the districts of Adilabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, Nalgonda, Khammam and Nizamabad in Telangana.

The forecast for the state is dry weather with minimum temperatures appreciably below normal by around 4 to 6 degrees over the next two nights in many places.
