Bhubaneswar: Bahubali-3 is born in Odisha! Surprised? But, it’s true, albeit differently. Amidst overwhelming response to blockbuster ‘Bahubali 2: The Conclusion’ at the box office across the country and overseas, the authorities of Nandankanan Zoological Park here on the outskirts of Odisha capital on Wednesday named a tiger cub as Bahubali at a function attended by Odisha forest and environment minister Bijayshree Routray at Nandan-kanan.
According to report, three tigresses — Megha, Bijayee and Sneha — had recently given birth to seven cubs. However, they were not named as yet.
On Wednesday, the zoo authorities requested the visiting tourists to name the cubs. Since most of the tour-ists named a male cub as Bahubali for its sturdy figure and sma-rtness, the authorities named it accordingly.
