Video: Terminally ill patients having a laugh about death will inspire you

Approaching death due to a disease which doesn’t leave a lot of time for you to live can be a terrifying experience, and terminally ill people might find it very difficult to handle this difficult phase of life. But it takes courage to face death and to laugh at it is something that requires extraordinary mettle.

A group of terminally ill people decided to talk about their lives with people as they took to the stage to perform stand up comedy which was all about laughing about their death. These brave individuals joked about the inevitable end that they saw coming, and spread smiles across faces of the audience.

The event was made possible thanks to efforts of End of Life Care India in collaboration with professional comedians. The patients shared moments of happiness with the crowd present as they were unfazed by the gloominess of what was to come.
