Syrian refugee gets severe stomach pain after swallowing life's savings
Syrians are living some of the most difficult lives currently and because of which every valuable counts especially money. Recently, a Syrian refugee fleeing from the country took all his life’s savings in the most unusual way but was soon faced with a medical issue because his stomach started aching really badly while he was travelling and he had to get operated for it.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, the 32-year-old consumed 26 paper notes before setting out through Europe to take refuge. Unfortunately, he started getting a severe stomach ache, nausea and even vomiting making it very uneasy for him and so he decided to visit a doctor in Netherlands. The Dutch doctors at Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum in Leiden made a small opening in his stomach and found the money in the rubber case and immediately removed it out.
The refugee had swallowed the money because he thought he would be robbed by other refugees on the way and the money was all that he had. He had put together all his life-savings of 1, 807 dollars before he left so that he could use it in time of need.
