Yoga camp at Palace Grounds in Bengaluru

The camp will be held from 6 am to 9 am and will impart training in surya namaskar, yoga asanas, meditation, pranayam and chanting.

Bengaluru: Akshar Yoga will be conducting a two-day mega yoga health camp at Palace Grounds on Saturday and Sunday. A workshop to impart self-defence training for women will also be held.

While making the announcement Chikkaballapur MLA Dr Sudhakar K, said, “With this event, our aim is to work towards our larger goal of ensuring respect and dignity towards women in our society. They should make their decision, by their own choice. They should have a high social respect in society. We are taking baby steps to ensure a gender equal society in India."

Olympic wrestlers Geeta and Babita Phogat will be a part of this initiative, to advocate the need and importance of a healthy lifestyle.
