The mortal remains of Liny was cremated at the city crematorium here by the health department.
Nurse Liny who attended to an affected patient died on Sunday due to fever.
Kozhikode: Nurses are called as angels without wings and Liny Puthusserry (31) personified it. Liny was the nurse at Perambra taluk hospital who attended Sabith at the hospital. She died at 2 am on Sunday at Kozhikode medical college hospital due to viral fever suspected to be Nipah epidemic. The sample result is yet to be received.
Liny hails from Chembanoda in Perambra. Sabith was brought to Perambra hospital before shifting to Baby memorial hospital. The mortal remains of Liny was cremated at the city crematorium here by the health department. Meanwhile, two nurses of another private hospital in Perambra have also said to be developed similar symptoms. Liny is survived by husband Sajeesh and two children.
