I got into yoga after I was badly hurt during a dance show. Completely down and out, I was in bed recuperating from my hurt back.
Depressed, disheartened and not willing to take up anything else, my best friend Sashi introduced me to yoga. It was very difficult at first as I could only do very simple and light poses. I could not take up anything which was difficult as my back hurt the most.
But the instructors gave me confidence that if I worked slowly, I would surely be able to dance and also do my best. And I am grateful as after three years I am finally doing the best. That’s when I decided that I would become
a yoga instructor and am working my way towards it.
