In a bid to seek fresh adventure on weekends, youngsters are heading to trampoline parks to have some fun.

We’re talking of the city’s young and energetic crowd taking to the new trend of trampoline hopping for sheer thrills and adrenaline rush like never before. It’s not just the tykes and teenagers, but also fun, young Bengalureans who’re heading to the A lot of people are heading to various trampoline parks that have sprung up in the city.

Weekends are not just about pubbing anymore. These trampoline parks are all about fun and sheer revelry. And there are quite a few to choose from – Play Factory, Electronics City, Play Arena, Sarjapur Road, Decathlon centres across the city, Playtopia, JP Nagar and many others.

Tired of the same fitness routine? Now you can spend a day slam dunking over some fun anti-boredom activities instead of fretting and frowning like couch potatoes. Fitness trainer Nikita Suresh says, “Trampoline parks are so much fun and scary at times too, especially if it is your first time! But the feeling of flying in air is amazing. I also think it’s a great workout as it gets your heart racing and requires good core strength to avoid losing balance. It’s a huge craze abroad and now its growing fast and becoming popular in our hometown too.”

Amith Manohar, PLay Arena Sports and Adventure confirms, “These trampoline parks combine the fun of jumping with calorie burning benefits. It’s a full body workout and helps in balance and coordination. From kids to teens, young adults and corporates love these trampoline activities.”

Trampolines can be a great combination of fun and fitness. Both outdoor and indoor trampoline parks are getting popular. Prasad MG, Zen Fitness & Sports shares, “Indoor trampoline parks can be fun in group of friends or even with family for an entertaining evening out. They are popular amusement and recreational activities internationally and now they’re trending in Bengaluru too with indoor trampoline parks that have a cluster of interconnected trampolines and many trampoline based fun games that are perfect for our city weather.”

Reclaim ecstacy at trampoline parks with large jumping spaces to bring out the kid in you as you enter these trampoline zones with a dodge-ball zone and foam pits.

According to a study completed by NASA, a 10 minute jump on a trampoline is equivalent to a 30 minute run. So, it's a proven fact that a trampoline not only gives you a lot of fun but it also caters to your health needs. Thyagu Valliappaa, Play Factory adds, “Our Trampoline Park is the second biggest in Asia with an indoor arena of 10,000 sq ft filled wall to wall with trampolines. The trampoline parks are getting popular for birthday bashes, corporate events, private parties, fitness or just a fun evening out.
