A man in China ended up with a severe lung infection caused by sniffing his socks every night. His sweaty feet had left a fungal infestation in the socks and this fungus was transferred to his lungs when he smelled the stinky socks after work.
His immune system had also been affected due to staying up late and taking care of a child.
