Eco-friendly parking chiefs in the UK are offering customers free parking spaces if they pay up with old plastic bottles, the Daily Mail reported.
Customers at CitiPark can give as many as they wish and can even get a whole day's worth of parking free.
Drivers, who hand over their plastic, which has to be a minimum 500ml bottle, will then receive vouchers to enjoy their free parking time.
The cost of parking in Leeds (UK), ranges from £3 to £19. Customers wanting free parking for 24 hours needs to give at least 95 bottles.
Parking attendant Chris Jones told the Daily Mail: "This scheme is all about helping the environment, which is something our company takes quite seriously.
"Drivers just need to come to the customer services desk with their bottles and we'll give them a discount on their ticket."
