Dr. Andrew Weil, a Harvard trained medical doctor, says that the solution to the problem is actually just a very simple breathing exercise. The 4-7-8 breathing exercise also known as ‘The Relaxing Breath’ is based on an ancient Indian practise that means ‘regulation of breath’, according to Medical Daily. It is supposed to be really effective and relaxing as it enables the fast removal of carbon dioxide from our bodies.

The 4-7-8 breathing exercise comprises five steps which allow you to practise holding your breath for eight seconds and then deeply inhale oxygen. Below is a video that will help you learn this technique in the easiest way possible.
