Man makes 'ice pops' using condoms to heal wife's vagina post childbirth
Childbirth is one of the most special experiences in a woman’s life, but it also is a painful one and causes swelling and bruising inside the vagina. Although the focus is on the joy the new born brings along, the wounds sustained in the process also need healing.
Applying ice to a bruised area is the ideal way of treating swelling and alleviating pain, and so a man came up with a novel yet simple way to help his wife who had just given birth. Martin Wanless came up with a very effective solution called vagina ice pop, and it’s not what you think.
Martin bought some condoms and filled them up with water as he later froze them to hand over to his wife. The ice pops are to be placed in the vagina wrapped by a clean cloth to ease pain and swelling.
While it does seem like an odd technique, Martin wrote on an internet portal that many women actually prefer this solution. He also mentioned that a doctor who is also a mother recommended this to his friend.
The idea works well to reduce pain caused due to trauma that follows child birth.
