Video: Rare moment of baby born inside fully intact amniotic sack
This is an incredible and a beautiful phenomenon which is rarely witnessed. This is the moment when a child is born but is still inside amniotic sac- known as the caul, which occurs in one in every 80,000 births.
The clip was captured in Spain and shows us the rare moment of the born body fully intact amniotic sac, with the membrane covering its entire body.
The video shows the baby lying on a hospital table, curled up inside the sac which is tightly stretched around its body.
The baby is clearly visible inside the sac, moving at times with the umbilical cord still attached.
Usually the amniotic sac is broken during the process of childbirth or is pierced with a scalpel during a c-section.
Nurses and doctors gather around the table to catch a glimpse of this rare moment what is considered to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in medical profession.
Normally when the sac break, the fluid held inside is known as woman’s ‘water breaking’.
Just in a day this video has got over 7 million views. Earlier this year another baby born in Spain was also captured on a video being born inside the amniotic sac.
In that case the doctor used a pair of surgical scissors to cut a small hole in the sac which caused the baby to spill out soon.
That video also went viral and received more than 26million views.
