According to Australian nutritionist Lola Berry, who spoke to MailOnline, eating well can be achieved regardless of time schedule, as long as women have these five staples in their fridge.

Tinned Salmon: According to Berry, this is a great hit as it contains both protein and essential fatty acids. It is very good for skin and brain health. Salmon helps to keep you full while building and maintaining muscle and when it comes to cooking - the options are endless.

It is also packed with healthy unsaturated fats, such as omega-3.

Seeds and nuts: High in good healthy fats and minerals they make the perfect snacks. One can also make their own healthy nut butter by blending them up and storing them in a jar.

Microwavable rice and quinoa pots: For a quick and easy source of ready to go complex carbs, opt for microwavable rice and quinoa pots. They make for sustained energy levels and is a nice hit of vegetarian protein.

Eggs: Although eggs tend to be a staple in a lot of kitchens, this simple superfood is often overlooked. They are full of protein, B vitamins and good fats.

Kombucha: A natural probiotic for gut health, it is also said to have an impact on having a healthy immune system. The fermented tea makes for a great sweet alternate to fizzy drinks.
