CHENNAI: Are you apprehensive of contacting a water borne infection or worried that tap water is full of impurities? Then try the antioxidant water processor which produces hydrogen rich water with anti-oxidative properties. This Japanese patented product which claims to produce antioxidant water with 7 levels of ph, has made its appearance in Chennai, promising significant health benefits.
“Drinking this hydrogen rich electrolyzed water causes the negatively charged hydroxyl ions in them to bond with the positively charged free radicals found in your body, thus neutralizing them. Continued consumption of Trim Ion antioxidant water and use of this water for domestic purposes like cooking, cleaning vegetables, etc., will have immense health benefits by helping to fight the damage by free radicals in the body,” claims Yozo Koga, director, international division, Nihon Trim Co Ltd, Japan.
Mr Koga, who launched the Trio Ion antioxidant water system here on Wednesday demonstrated the efficacy of the water produced by the processor.
The Japanese firm, Nihon Trim Co Ltd which launched its product for the Indian market hopes to go on an expansion from Chennai. “Our antioxidant water processor has been made available in Taiwan, China, South Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam and Hawaii (USA),” Mr. Koga said, and added that unlike simple water purifiers and reverse osmosis technology, this antioxidant water production system converts potable tap water into antioxidant water with high oxidation reduction potential (ORP) enhancing its health benefits significantly.
On the health benefits, he said that a study on the consumption of Nihon Trim water by the company’s12 employees based on six parameters for 60 consecutive days showed that those with diabetes and hypertension found a significant dip in the levels. Also, bowel movements improved, he claimed.
“The continued consumption of water showed that the healthcare expenses of our employees came down by 37 to 40 per cent,” he added.
