A live cockroach was taken out from the skull base of a woman in Chennai earlier this week. “This is the first such case I have seen in my 30 years”, the lead doctor said. Experts believe the cockroach had entered through the woman’s nose when she was asleep. Over the next couple of days, the woman kept complaining about a crawling sensation and severe pain. Which is when doctors decided it was time for surgery.
