Talking after inaugurating the state conference of Medical Laboratory Owners Association here, she said the state government was well equipped to do it on its own. “Till date, the health sector is performing its best in all aspects. Even during the time of crisis, when the number of fever cases increased drastically, the government was able to control the situation,” she said.
“From Asha workers to doctors in medical colleges, all have supported the health department. Hence, we are least bothered about assistance from the Centre.” Doctors from medical colleges were deployed for preventive measures, she said. “We have also given importance to inspect and analyse the health condition of people living in one place in big numbers," she said.
