New Delhi: July is a landmark month for Zumba in India as Sucheta Pal becomes the first Indian to be the Zumba Global Brand Ambassador.
To celebrate this, she has invited her mentor and Zumba International presenter Maria Browning all the way from Miami. This mentor-mentee duo will kick-start a one of a kind Zumba India tour, teaching master classes across eight cities and stop in Bengaluru on July 9, joined by the city's very own ZES (Zumba Education Specialist) Shwetambari Shetty, co-hosted by the two vibrant Bangalorean instructors Namrata and Jyothika.
Instructor Namrata says, "The phenomenal growth of Zumba in India in the last five years is because of a 4,000 strong Zumba instructor community trained by Sucheta and her team and I'm elated to celebrate this growth with Sucheta and her mentor Maria".
This Maria-Sucheta duo travels to Mumbai, Kochi, Bengaluru, Goa, Ahmedabad, Gurugram, Kolkata and Pune, where they will be sharing their Zumba moves with fitness enthusiasts, before heading off to the Annual Zumba convention in Orlando.
Commenting on the forthcoming event, Instructor Jyothika says, "It is a treat for people who would participate in this grand Zumba event. Sucheta's master class in Bangalore also strengthens the fact that Bangalore has one of the most vibrant communities of Zumba Instructors across the country."
