Hyderabad: Eighteen-year-old Prashanth M. donated six organs to the Jeevandan scheme. Prashanth was hit by a two-wheeler while crossing the flyover at Neredmet on August 5. He suffered a severe head injury and was admitted at the Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad.
Despite treatment, there was no improvement and his parents, Ravi and Renuka, agreed to donate the organs to the government scheme. Two kidneys, two corneas, one liver and heart were donated.
