Culinary festivities

However, what stole the show was the funky names given to the dishes as well as the impressive stall decorations.

The Institute of Hotel Management Hyderabad conducted IHM Utsav 2020 during the January 25-26 weekend. Students presented their talent at the festival by putting up stalls of different cuisines.

The venue was the centre of foodies who were delighted to be relishing dishes that ranged from traditional snacks of Telangana to international dishes, which were all on sale. However, what stole the show was the funky names given to the dishes as well as the impressive stall decorations.

One of the dishes put up by the students was the wood fire pizza, for which, we have been told they took around two days to construct the wood fire oven. The paan shot, served in a syringe, was yet another eye-catcher at the food festival. Dishes such as fried ice cream, pasta, wraps, Telangana sarva pindi, murukulu and chocolate raagi malt were among the must-tries. An organic stall selling millets, pickles, sweets and other farm products added to the health quotient at the festival.
