The World Luxury Restaurant Awards unveiled the best hotels around the globe in a glorious awards night from a list of 84 categories.

Mumbai: Sofitel Mumbai BKC’s signature restaurant Jyran – Tandoor Dining & Lounge has won the Most Luxurious Ambience in the Regional Category and best Indian Cuisine in the Continent Category at The World Luxury Restaurant Awards. The awards are bestowed to luxury properties that are proficient within their service delivery areas on a country, regional, continent or global basis.

Jyran in Persian translates to “Lost Love” and is a name symbolic of hope, new beginnings and emotions that follow a deep and moving experience. Inspired from the Indian Northwest Frontier Province, the restaurant, which was launched in 2012, has a décor and cuisine that has been designed with celebration and drama in mind.

Speaking about being bestowed with the accolade, Biswajit Chakraborty, General Manager, Sofitel Mumbai BKC said, “We are extremely delighted to win in these categories for this prestigious global award. Over the years, we have received some excellent reviews, feedback and reputed local and international awards for the culinary experience we offer at Jyran – Tandoor Dining & Lounge.”
