Hyderabad: The Secunderabad Cantonment Board resealed Sree Raghavendra Bangalore Iyengar Bakery at Trimulgherry for not adhering to the 16-point declaration form. This is the second hotel after Agra Sweets that has been re-sealed. SCB food inspector, M. Devender said, “The outlets were running without trade licence and in unhygienic conditions.” A penalty of '1 lakh was imposed, he added.
The managements of Delhi 9, Iyengar Bakery and Agra Sweets sought permission to open their outlets for the Diwali season and promised rectification within 10 days which was granted. On Tuesday, the bakery was inspected and the same conditions were noticed. SCB officials granted permission to Agra Sweets to open for business on Tuesday as the management closed the kitchen in the cellar area.
