Pune's very favourite misal pav is also a part of the delicious spread.
With the rains making an unexpected comeback, an evening spent relishing steaming hot, deep fried stuffed parathas sounds absolutely delectable! Head to Sheraton Hyderabad, which is back with yet another food festival titled NH-65 that promises to tickle your taste buds with dishes from cities like Solapur, Pune,Vijayawada, Machilipatnam and Hyderabad.
An exotic clash of flavours, this festival is sure to leave you asking for more! Be it Hyderabad’s Punugulu or Solapur’s stuffed parathas to Machilipatnam’s falling-off-the-bone fish fry, every dish has its own distinct taste that will leave a trail of flavours in your mouth. Of all the brilliant street foods on offer, one preparation that you should definitely try is ulvacharu (a brown lentil soup) and idli, a fine delicacy from Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur district.
Heading slightly towards the north, Pune’s very favourite misal pav is also a part of the delicious spread. But if you prefer a more meaty flavour, a large variety of Hyderabad’s succulent kebabs are also on offer.
The spread provides a satisfying ending with desserts like bandar ladoo that one does not usually find in their neighbourhood sweetmeat shops! NH-65 is on till September 23.
