Gooey meaty treat

Cheese Pepper Chicken



  • 1 kg boneless chicken
  • 2tbsp oil
  • 1 or 2 onions, chopped
  • Ginger and garlic, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 4 cheese slices
  • Coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 2 green chilli, slit
  • 2 tbsp pepper powder
  • Salt to taste


In pan add 2 tbsp oil and let it heat up. Add  chopped ginger and garlic and black neem leaves. Saute until golden. Add onion and chicken pieces and fry until golden brown.

Remove the lid and add a slit green chill, chopped tomatoes and salt. More water can be added to cook the chicken. Add two tbsp of pepper powder, lime juice and coriander leaves. Cover and cook.

Once the water evaporates, add the cheese slices and let it melt.

(This dish can be eaten by itself or can be had with toast.)
