We round up for you a few vintage whiskeys that are as delectable as they are hard to find. You might want to get your hands on these before they fly off the shelves. Take for instance the 16-year-old Hirsch. One of the greatest bourbons ever, the 1974 distilled batch now lies at a defunct Michter’s Distillery that is known to have brewed magic potions such as Hirsch since 1750s. That should tell you why you need to get your hands on it when you can.

Then there is the 50-year-old Bowmore. Distilled in 1961, it has been maturing for almost 50 years and the last 200 bottles of the batch will hit the markets this year.

Next there is the 20-year-old Yoichi. Brewed in the same vaults as the father of Japanese whiskey Masataka Taketsuru, Yoichi is one of the most precarious blends in the vaults of Nikka at the moment. Exactly why it should find a place in your vault as well.
