Chennai: Showcasing the finest of luxury chocolates from India, crafted with internationally sourced ingredients and crafted by international chocolatiers, ITC launched its Chocolate Boutique, Fabelle, in Chennai.
“Since 2007 we had been experimenting with flavours, ingredients and been testing it with our senior management. It was an endeavour to match the global brands. Till now, India did not have a premium brand in chocolates that could match the taste given by international players,” GK Suresh, VP – Food Division, ITC said.
Fabelle offers a range of exquisite chocolate creations such as Fabelle Elements - intricately crafted pralines inspired by the elements of nature, Fabelle Ganache - velvety soft cubes of exotic cocoas delicately churned with butter & fresh cream and Fabelle As You Like It – personalised chocolate cup creations offering myriad possibilities of fillings and toppings.
Fabelle has made available home delivery from their outlets and digital marketing for the brand is being done through social media platforms, Suresh added.
After ITC Gardenia in Bengaluru and ITC Sonar in Kolkata, at Chennai is Fabelle’s third venture in the country. “The reviews from the two cities have been extremely encouraging. This has been pushing us to find other channels of making it available to people. After Chennai, we will be rolling it to Delhi and Mumbai,” Suresh added.
Apart from 140 odd combinations of personalised chocolate cups, the other ingredients that are present in the chocolates are Acacia nectar, Madagascar vanilla, French sea salt, Lankan cinnamon, and Ancho chilli.
