With the festive season knocking at our doors, we all want to loosen our inhibitions and get grooving. With guests coming over or going over for parties and gatherings, what better way to smoothen ourselves up than with some much needed cocktails!
Neelkanta Parida, Team Leader, ibis and Novotel Bengaluru Outer Ring Road has shared the recipes of four cocktails, namely 2 states, Imli Mojito, Scotchis and Ummathat to heighten the flavour of the festivities.
Silk hour cocktails
Scotichis
- Ardmore -50 ml
- Fresh lime juice 30ml
- P/A juice 50ml
- Curry leaves 4-5 leaves
- Glass ware-Rock Glass
- Garnish- P/A
How to make the Scotichis cocktail
- Add curry leave and p/a chunks into a shaker muddle it, and shake until chilled.
- Strain into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with a pineapple
Imli mojito
- Bacardi silver -50 ml
- Fresh lime juice 30ml
- Soda- 1 can
- Mint leaves 4-5 leaves3
- Lime chunks- 2-3
- Imli -2-3gm
- Glass ware-high ball
- Garnish- mint sprig
How to make the Imli mojito cocktail
- Add all ingredient’s to a high ball glass muddle it, then fill up with crushed ice and top up with soda
- Strain into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with a mint sprig
Two states
- Grey goose -50 ml
- Kahlua- 30ml
- Cola -1 can
- Cream 10gm
- Glass ware- Hurricane Glass
- Garnish- coffee beans
How to make the Two states cocktail
- Add grey goose, kahlua and cream , and shake until chilled.
- Strain into the prepared hurricane glass over fresh ice. Top with cola
- Garnish with a coffee bean
Ummathat
- Grey goose -50 ml
- Green chilly – 2no.s
- Mango juice -100ml
- Glass ware-martini Glass
- Garnish- green chilly
How to make the Ummathat cocktail
- Add Grey goose, green chilly, into a shaker and muddle it than add mango juice and shake it until chilled.
- Strain into the prepared martini glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with a green chilly.
