Truly, madly SPA-LICIOUS
Guilt-free Spaghetti
Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion (finely chopped)
1 cup soya mince, soaked
Fresh oregano
4-5 chopped tomatoes, made into a paste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Chilli powder, to taste
Salt to taste
Sage leaves (chopped)
Whole wheat spaghetti
Parmesan cheese (grated)
METHOD
In a pan, add olive oil and chopped onions. Let it cook until golden. Now, add minced soya and cook for at least five minutes.
Add oregano and fresh tomato paste, cook for five minutes on low flame. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt to taste.
In a deep pan, add water, little salt and olive oil. Add spaghetti and cook for 10 minutes or until the spaghetti is al-dente ( In cooking, al dente refers to pasta which is cooked to be impeccably firm.)
Transfer the spaghetti into a capacious bowl and top it with sauce and grated parmesan cheese. Sprinkle chopped sage and serve with garlic bread and some red wine.
