City-based designer Jayanti Reddy, at the Lakme Fashion Week’18, left everyone mesmerised with her collection, The Twilight Zone. The designer explored her love for transparency with creative sheer accents. Her style mantra was the underlying belief that it is more about the strength than the skin. Each ensemble aimed to showcase a sense of freedom for the modern Indian woman aiming to make a lasting style statement.
Jayanti chose a warm colour palette of gold undertones with subtle shades of grey to reflect how the night time slowly creeps into the evening, inspired by the golden hour of twilight. The silhouettes had an avant-garde feel to them, as the designer experimented with sharply-tailored sleeves and blouses.
The show came to a close with the gorgeous Aditi Rao Hydari as the show stopper, in a stunning rose-gold lehenga with an intricate embroidery work and a backless blouse that made all heads turn.
