Plum Serum review: Boosts skin, smell tad strong

If your nose is sensitive to strong smell, we suggest you try it out before purchasing online.

Mumbai: Plum has recently introduced a new age specialist range – The Bright Year Range. The Bright Years Cell Renewal Serum is a part of it.

Skin concerns: Dull, lifeless skin, flaccid skin, wrinkles and fine lines, pigmentation and dark spots.

Claims: This instant absorbing serum combines plant cell extracts that promote skin renewal. It has natural wrinkle fighters derived from hawkweed and daisy, hydrating hyaluronic acid and skin tightening sesame protein that keeps the skin “bright years” ahead.

Key Ingredient: Infused with the goodness of ‘stem cells’, the serum claims to increase the vitality of the skin. Regular use of the serum, eventually results in reduced visible signs of aging.

Review: The cell renewal serum comes in a classy pink minimalist packaging with a dropper that controls extra spillage of the serum. The consistency of the serum is neither too thick nor watery, but just right. If your nose is sensitive to strong smell, we suggest you try it out before purchasing online.

Few drops and it spread evenly on the skin. Upon application it immediately gets absorbed into the skin and gives a soft dewy look. Personally this can be a good make-up base, but we suggest the application of the serum before bed time for better and faster results.

After one week, skin started looking fresh and luminous. There were reduced dark spots and the skin started feeling tighter and brighter. With regular use we expect it to get better.

Our Recommendation: This is a 100% beauty product and is therefore, free of harmful chemicals. It is free of Parabens, Phthalates, Propylene, Glycol, SLS, DEA, PABA and animal derived ingredients. So if you are on the look out for something that does not harm your skin, then you can opt for this serum.

The strong smell can be a big turn off for those with sensitive nose.

This might not be best suited for acne prone skin types.
