All eyes were on the red carpet as the best in both television and films, came together to celebrate this year’s Golden Globes. While mostly everyone who showed up looked effortlessly glamorous, there were a few who stood out.
Our very own Priyanka Chopra left everyone speechless in a hand-embroidered, golden Ralph Lauren gown. She let her hair loose, which was a welcome change and her dark lips were just perfect. Evan Rachel Wood definitely took the cake for the evening, in a three-piece custom suit by Altuzurra, showing young girls and women everywhere that gowns aren’t mandatory, and that pants can look equally chic. Another stylish winner was Emma Stone, whose flesh gown was all anyone could talk about. With star embellishments, this Valentino gown made her look like an ethereal being.
Whenever there are hits, there are also misses too. Sarah Jessica Parker, in a white Vera Wang bridal gown, made us think why someone who’s known for her sartorial choices would make this pick. Nicole Kidman was another shocker since she always manages to look great.
The sleeves of the silver Alexander Mcqueen’s gown were confusing and not flattering for sure. Blake Lively’s Versace gown also failed to impress, with a strange gold chain neckline and matching pockets.
