A bride’s dream
As is par for course, designer duo Shyamal and Bhumika brought to the ramp a dazzling array of beautiful bridal wear. The designing duo presented Wonderland, a luxury bridal collection that consisted a proffusion of sumptuous satin, appliquéd organza and ruffled hemlines. Adding a bit of a fusion touch to their designs, the lehengas, cholis and kurtas had a western feel to them. On the other hand, the gowns had an Indian feel with their encrusted bodices, ruffled, flared skirts and flowing organza. Gliding along the ramp in a dazzling ivory encrusted gown with a tulle veil, Bollywood Queen Kangana Ranaut brought the show to a glorious end.

Rahul Khanna turned showstopper for the designer bringing the thought-provoking show to an apt end in his all-white outfit.

Floral beauty
Like the spring and summer blossoms that bloom in gardens, designers Vineet Kataria and Rahul Arya’s Bageecha for their label VineetRahul unleashed a colourful line of romantic floral designs. Dusty aqua, sorbet pink, blue and neutral ivory fabrics were woven with intricate floral embroideries. When Tisca Chopra floated onto the ramp as showstopper, she looked every bit a fairytale princess in her bower, in a blush pink striped lehenga, a sequined blouse and floaty cape.
