Step 1: Divide your hair into two portions; make a half ponytail with the hair above your ear. Let the remaining hair below your ear, hang loose. Use a boar bristle brush to sweep the hair into the top pony to create smooth lines without any bubbles on the sides.

Step 2: It’s time to double up, basically scoop the rest of your hair that was hanging loose, into a second ponytail right beneath the first one.

Step 3: Backcomb the top ponytail using a fine-tooth comb to create fullness, which will also add volume to the upper ponytail, thus covering the lower one making it seem like one ponytail with greater volume and length. If the hair needs some polishing, you can use a shine spray to get smooth frizz-free shiny hair and a hair spray to hold the style in place.

This style works wonders for long hair, especially to ensure that the hair doesn’t fall flat.

Step 1: Wash your hair and towel dry it; apply a leave-in conditioner and then blow dry the hair for a while. Once done, do a 100 per cent flat dry with a paddle brush.

Step 2: Take a small portion around 1 inch of hair near your temple, away from your face and start twisting it. If you have fine hair, backcomb the portion and then twist. Use a hair spray to hold the twist.

Step 3: Secure the twist with a bobby pin placed diagonally at an angle, then slide the second pin over the first to create anX shape, ensure the pins are visible as it makes for an interesting hair accessory. You can use coloured pins to enhance the look. This simple and easy style will add that extra touch you need just before you step out in style.
