Negative Spacing is one of the hottest nail art trends of 2017 seen on the runway. Interestingly, unlike more nail trends, negative spacing is easily doable, and requires only basic maintenance. And the biggest plus? You don’t really need to run to a nail expert to ace the trend.
Procedure: Less is more and the statement syncs perfectly well with this nail art. To begin with, this nail trend can be created by using either a single colour, a few bright hues or bold tones. Now, by placing either dots, curves or geometrical patterns, whilst leaving blank spaces on the nail, this look can be created. The un-coloured nail peeps through bold lacquers like cutouts in clothes. This minimalistic nail trend is not only in vogue but also versatile. For those who’ve just ventured into nail art, this is a trend which is good to start out with. Considering it’s not too over the top, you could sport it for work too.
Nail Tip: Those suffering from yellow/ stained nails, you’ll have to begin by getting off the stain as far as possible. All you need is a nail brush, baking soda and a little bit of water. Mix it together to make a thick paste and apply on the nail beds. Wait for two minutes before using the nail brush. Voila! Stain-free nails are ready.
