Remember those bell-bottom jeans that you wore so often as a kid? Well, if you have been secretly longing to put one on again, now is the time! Fashion has a way of coming round a full circle. Many trends from the ‘90s are back and they seem to have aged well. Stylist Indrakshi Pattnaik says that she has been using many of these age-old trends to style celebrities this year. For an awards ceremony, she styled actress Lavanya Tripathi, who sported a simple choker. “People say ‘it’s so last season’, but ‘last season’ is cool now,” she explains. “Denim-on-denim, berry lips,  dungarees, are all back in fashion, but one must know how to carry them off.”

“Take bell-bottoms for example. One must have fit legs and be confident while wearing them,” she advises. “I’m a firm believer of personal style. It is about what one feels comfortable in. I have been wearing chokers since a few years before they reappeared, but I’d never wear bell-bottoms. If I wear them, I will literally look like a bell,” she says with a laugh.
