“What drew me to Swastik was the owner’s vision of providing genuine wellness to people,” reveals Dr. Srinivas. “The profits from this project will go towards the Nyati Foundation, supporting healthcare and education initiatives. It was a no-brainer for me, as it ticked all the right boxes.”
As I stepped into the serene surroundings of Swastik Wellbeing Sanctuary, I couldn't help but feel a sense of tranquility wash over me. Located in the heart of Pune, this 51-acre wellness destination offers a comprehensive approach to health and wellbeing. The wellness sanctuary provides a unique blend of traditional and modern therapies, sustainable practices, and cultural experiences.
According to Dr. Srinivas, the property’s approach to wellness is centered around five key pillars— health, wealth, love, bliss, and spirituality. “We believe that true wellness encompasses not just physical health, but also emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being,” he explains.

As we discussed the various treatments and programs offered at Swastik, Dr. Srinivas highlights the importance of personalised care. “We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach,” he says, adding, “Our team of experts, including Ayurvedic doctors, naturopaths, spiritual guides, psychologists, and gene experts, work together to create bespoke programs tailored to each individual’s needs.”

The property has implemented a range of eco-friendly initiatives, including a 700 kilowatt solar power plant and a state-of-the-art water filtration system. “We are very conscious of our impact on the environment,” shares Dr. Srinivas, adding, “We want to give back to nature, not take away from it.” They have also added over 2,000 native trees to the property, and are working on reducing waste to a minimum.
In addition to its focus on wellness and sustainability, Swastik Wellbeing Sanctuary is also dedicated to supporting the local community. The property has partnered with a local paathshala to promote Marathi culture and traditions, and also offers regular workshops and programs on topics such as yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. In addition to its cutting-edge treatments, Swastik also offers a range of cultural experiences, including Marathi songs, bhajans, and khatas performed by local children.
