Hyderabad: The Amrabad tiger reserve, with around 30 tigers and 11 cubs, will be closed for the monsoon holiday from July 3m and reopen in early October. Nagarkurnool district forest officer Rohit Gopidi said the date of reopening will be taken based on the rain situation at the end of September. Gopidi said that during the break, foresters will focus on patrolling to prevent encroachments, repairs and upkeep of infrastructure, and clearing waste and garbage.
