Wecreatelives is a social entrepreneurship venture, established with the aim of providing training to differently-abled people who are struggling to make both ends meet. With the help of hundreds of differently-abled persons, Wecreatelives is organising an awareness programme on June 5 to make the city of Thiruvananthapuram plastic free and protect the mother earth.
Plastics waste is non-degradable and one of the major threats to the planet. The organisation is planning to create awareness among the people of Thiruvananthapuram about the consequences of mindless dumping of plastic waste in the city. They also plan to collect plastic waste from different areas of the city. As part of the campaign, a cleaning camp will also be held. The programme also includes planting saplings, flash mob by differently-abled persons to disseminate information on plastic waste management, and a magic show headed by a team of differently-abled volunteers.
