Anju Poddar’s ninth book, ‘My Dining Table’, was launched on Friday at Bangur House in the presence of the city’s elite. Organized by Anju’s daughter, Pallavi More, alongside Richa Jalan and Juhi Sanghi, the event was hosted by Sheetal Bangur.
Art enthusiasts, socialites, as well as Anju’s family and friends, came together to make the event truly memorable. It seamlessly combined tradition, elegance, and humour. The proceedings commenced with the dignitaries, including Laxma Goud, Thota Vaikuntam, Indira Subbarami Reddy, Kishore Biyani, P. Narendra, and Alka Bangur, lighting the lamp. Anju Poddar, Pallavi More, and Pinky Reddy also took part.
Following the lamp-lighting ceremony, the book was officially launched, and the dignitaries were invited to share their thoughts about Anju. It was unanimously agreed that she embodied the essence of a perfect hostess. The event concluded with a delightful spread of homemade delicacies, including the irresistible kalakand and bhel.
