Devotees throng temples for Diwali

 Kurnool: With the holiday period starting on Saturday, a huge influx of devotees gathered at Srisailam, Mahanandi, and other prominent temples in Nandyal district.

Meanwhile, in anticipation of the surge, officials have made arrangements to ensure the convenience of all devotees.

Preparations for the Kartika festivities organised by temple authorities, scheduled to commence on November 14, are already underway.

The renowned Shaivite temple, Mahanandi, is abuzz with devotees, attracting thousands not only from various regions but also from neighboring states. Devotees participated in sacred bathing rituals at Koneru.

Sri Kameshwari Devi Sahita Mahanandeeswara Swamy was offered special pujas. Local temples like Ahobilam, Yaganti and others also had large turnout of devotees.
