New children's book will portray Santa in a gay, interracial relationship

Many cartoons have recently portrayed their characters from the LGBT community thus showing their support for the very same people and their sexual preferences. After Beauty and the Beast, a new book will now feature Santa Claus as gay and in an interracial relationship.

According to a report in the Metro, Daniel Kibblesmith, a staff writer for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert has created a picture book called ‘Santa’s Husband’ will show the popular Christmas character in a totally different light. The book came about after Kibblesmith had tweeted in December last year that he and his partner would tell their child about ‘Black Santa’ and that ‘White Santa’ was his husband.

The book was published as a parody to classic bedtime books and will be created in partnership with publishing house Harper Design and will be released on 10 October.
