Thiruvananthapuram: CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran on Wednesday released a reference book containing entire information about party Congresses held till now.
The first copy of the book titled "CPI Party Congress Knowledge Book" was handed over to CPI central secretariat member Pannyan Raveendran. The book which has been published in connection with the forthcoming party Congress in Kollam from April 25 to 29, will also be a ready reference book on the history of Indian communist movement.
This is also the first reference document which politically interprets the decisions taken by CPI party congresses in the past.
The book will be available in Malayalam, English and Hindi. The history of CPI in each district will also be brought out in the respective regional languages. The book priced at Rs 400 will be available at Rs 300 to those who book in advance.
Meanwhile, CPI sate council which met at MN Smarakam reviewed the preparations for the forthcoming party congress in Kollam.
