Bengaluru: IT veterans simplify entrepreneurship
Bengaluru: Renowned IT veterans Ashok Soota and S.R. Gopalan launched their book, Entrepreneurship Simplified, in the city on Tuesday. The book focuses on simplifying the budding entrepreneurs' journey from "idea to IPO".
"There is an entrepreneurial boom in the country and the book is our endeavour to simplify the steps of entrepreneurs to help them improve their probability of success," said Mr Soota, the executive chairman of Happiest Minds Technologies.
Speaking about the plight of some of the companies that have tasted failure in their ventures, he said that the lifecycles of the companies have shortened."The startups need to focus on nurturing a vibrant culture and scaling up their businesses. The risk is inevitable in every business. The entrepreneurs, however, have to try their best to reduce those risks," he advised.
Mr Soota and Mr Gopalan said that they decided to pen the book after witnessing the struggles of Indian entrepreneurs and lack of proper guidance to scale up their ventures. The authors have distilled their decades of experience into a comprehensive practical guide to help aspiring as well as established entrepreneurs to embark on the entrepreneurial journey.
