Shades of creativity

Students from different streams have come together for the exhibition.

Art is an indescribable space where a mind can portray a mélange of expressions through lines, shapes, colours, space and textures. The students of the art department (Senior School) of the Choice School, Tripunithura, have come up with Hues, an exhibition depicting their creativity.

This initiative has been initiated by the students with the help of teachers and they have taken up different roles as curators, designers and money collectors. The students are well prepared for the exhibition and the main person behind this is their teacher Rashmi. “We briefed students to work in four styles such as abstract and folk. They were free to choose their styles,” says Rashmi.

Students from different streams have come together for the exhibition. It shows the hard work and dedication of the children and their interest in art. “It is for the first time that an art exhibition is being held in our school,” says a student.

In school, students are trained not only to work with different mediums, but also to derive a deep insight into the evolution of art in Indian history from the prehistoric period to the modern period. They are also given an exposure to the contributions of renowned artists of Indian origin. The exhibition is on till 26th of March from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm at the school premises.
