The Pink Rush

Millennial pink was a huge hit last year and is back this time with a better twist.

Millennial pink is a vibrant colour. Hence incorporating this into your homes can be tricky.

Living room
Spruce up those boring walls with flamingo birds or lotus wallpapers. Ensure the base of the wallpaper has the dominant colour as opposed to the photo frame or prints. Accessorise the place with millennial pink knick-knack like throw pillows etc. You can also brighten up the room with pink pop-up curtains with white or grey shimmer, especially along French windows.

Kitchen
Kitchen cabinets can be painted with millennial pink with black and white dado tiles to give a balanced look. Place a shelf below the window sill and keep potted plants in millennial pink coloured pots. For double colour kitchen, use dark grey on the base cabinet and millennial pink on the top. Don’t forget to highlight the place with the small succulent plants as it will give an added wow factor.

Bedrooms
Just one millennial pink may not go well with the design concept. An ombre effect can be used. Millennial pink treated walls with white fabric headboard brings balance to the design. To give a little bold look, you can use solid millennial pink fabric headboard. A millennial pink table lamp adds a cozy touch to your bedroom.

Extra Points...
To achieve a different look, wooden elements can be given a distressed millennial pink colour. The area should be well
lighted.
