Bengaluru: Five new foreign language editions of Mr P.A. Nazareth’s (left) book, Gandhi’s Outstanding Leadership, were released in October this year. The book by the former diplomat has been translated to Nepali, Dutch, Hungarian Serbian and Swedish.
The Nepali edition has been published by Kathalaya of Kathmandu; the other four by The Golden Shore of Nuremberg, Germany, which had published its German and Italian editions in September 2015.
The foreword for all the six European language editions has been written by former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev. The Nepali edition was released by the country’s deputy Prime Minister Bimlendra Nidhi at Kathmandu on October 2.
The Swedish edition was released at Uppsala University on October 18, the Dutch edition at Leiden University on October 21, the Hungarian edition at the Central European University (at Budapest) on October 24 and the Serbian edition at the Belgrade Central Library on October 31.
