A talent contest
The celebration on Children’s Day turned to an enthusiastic talent contest show with hundreds of kids waiting their turn to showcase their talents through artworks. More than 300 kids participated for pre-eminence during the 5th edition of the Nippon Paint Art Competition, open for boys and girls up to 10 years of age where they vied with one another to win Crowns, besides exciting prizes and awards. The winners were awarded Nippon Blooby, trophies, gifts & certificates by Actor Mahedran and all the participants were awarded with medals and certificates.
The event, however, involved creation of the longest continuous painting. Pot painting was another focus where over 200 parents and kids co-operated and bonded with each other to create little masterpieces. Participants engaged in a variety of competitions including drawing, oratory, GK, singing and dancing and the skit by the children in the concept of Chennaiyil Oru Kolu Galatta.
‘Little Prince & Princess’ was another facet of initiatives taken by IRIS Events and supported by Nippon Paint and a few sponsors. Part of the proceeds generated by the event was contributed to Ark India Service Society.
