A Telugu cultural festival organised by the OBCF was held on Monday at the University of Hyderabad. Different dance forms like Perini Thandavam, Kolatam, Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam and songs of the Telugu states were performed.
Supported by the Department of Culture and the Government of Telangana, the main objective of the festival was to bring the entire student community together and showcase the various art forms and food items of both the Telugu states.
Nearly 600 teaching, non-teaching staff and students attended the programme. A delicious spread of Telangana dishes were served after the event.
